My conspiracy theory

That 12 men on the field was as angry as I have ever seen dawgman posters

Of course Ty had half the secondary playing zone and half man to man to lose the Apple Cup and I think some other coach had 12 men on the field as well

Rick was a victim of us? still having high standards that are long gone

If the refs don't totally fuck up that Michigan 1st down on the dropped pass, the 12th man never happens, RN goes 9-3 that season, and he is much more difficult to shit can prior to the following season just because of some butthurt alum with a grudge.

(And fuck Hugh Millen again. I hope it was worth it)

As @RaceBannon has always said, we should have fired Rick after 7-5 in 2003. 1 Pac title in 5 tries and 7 wins is not up to our standards.

I didn't even mention 12 men on the field in 2002. Chew on that.

2001 Michigan begets 9/11
2002 Michigan 12 men on field begets NCAA betting pool and Ricky getting replaced by Gilby
2020 Wuhan Virus cancels home opener with Michigan

1992 Michigan begets Billygate
1993 Michigan begets Pac-10 sanctions

I’m telling ever since the 1992 Rose Bowl, only bad things happen when Michigan is on the calendar. I should have been sounding the alarms much earlier but got distracted by the 2019 debacle.

Bump.

Michigan in 2001 = 9/11
Michigan in 2002 = 12 men on the field
Michigan in 2020 = Covid and 4 game season
Michigan in 2021 = 9/4
