I'm confused. When a senior admin official says Wikileaks has ties to Russia we must believe that (which is irrelavent to whether Seth leaked the DNC emails or not...just like it's irrelavent what his parents said as they don't have access to his computer). Yet when 3 senior officials in the room call the WP story a fraud then we can't believe them.

The Fox report linked says a Federal Investigator corroborated the story. Specifically the Federal Investigator said:

"I have seen and read the emails between Seth Rich and WikiLeaks,” the federal investigator told Fox News, confirming the MacFadyen connection.

and

"An FBI forensic report of Rich's computer -- generated within 96 hours after Rich's murder -- showed he made contact with WikiLeaks through Gavin MacFadyen, a now-deceased American investigative reporter, documentary filmmaker, and director of WikiLeaks who was living in London at the time, the federal source told Fox News."

and

The federal investigator, who requested anonymity, said 44,053 emails and 17,761 attachments between Democratic National Committee leaders, spanning from January 2015 through late May 2016, were transferred from Rich to MacFadyen before May 21.

That is better sourced than anything the WP or NYTs put out today because it is both specific and it does not have people looking at the same event (i.e. contents of Seth's HD) and saying the opposite. And, if true, means there is a whole lot of bad going on in the govt.

I don't care if the kid was a Wikileaker. You still have to show some connection between Killary? The DNC? Obummer? and his murder. Until then this is pure conjecture and murder porn fantasy on your part.

You still don't get the whoosh (big surprise), but at least you get the sourcing (anonymous on both sides now as the other side is still saying they have) which still doesn't put it the same as the WP/NYTs articles which are anonymous only on one side. And bashing the Fox News affiliate (who have updated their story with most of those comments) while pretending Ben Collins isn't as biased and they come is pure comedy.

On Monday, Rod Wheeler, a Washington private investigator who was hired by the Rich family to look into the death of their son, suggested in an interview with a Fox station in Washington that there was “tangible evidence” that Mr. Rich had communicated with WikiLeaks before his death.

On Tuesday afternoon, CNN reported that Mr. Wheeler had said in an interview he had “no evidence” that Mr. Rich had contacted WikiLeaks and that he had “only learned about the possible existence of such evidence” through a reporter at Fox News.

The Metropolitan Police Department issued a statement on Tuesday saying that “the assertions put forward by Mr. Wheeler are unfounded.”

Later on Tuesday, Mr. Wheeler, who was a Washington police officer from 1990 to 1995, repeated his allegations in an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News on Tuesday night. He told Mr. Hannity that he had talked to a federal investigator who said he had seen Mr. Rich’s case file.

But in that interview, Mr. Wheeler clarified that he had never seen such emails directly, nor was he willing to say definitively to Mr. Hannity that Mr. Rich had emailed WikiLeaks, though he concluded that “it sure appears that way.”
