I think it's time to end the charade. Moderating here isn't really moderation at all. It's about keeping the board alive, posting content, and generating discussion. I'm not doing that and I have no intention of starting.
I took the title against my better judgement. There was a time when I would've enjoyed it and done a good job. I'm just not into it anymore. I thought maybe I'd get swept up in the excitement, but there really isn't any. I'm not sure it would've made any difference anyways.
So, @DerekJohnson can go ahead and revoke my mod privileges and rename the board whenever he feels like. I suggest that one of you guys hit him up and take over. Recruiting is different now and not real interesting IMO, but it's worthy of a board and a moderator who cares enough to keep the traffic and info flowing.
Good luck the rest of the way.

Sorry for not coming through, Derek. One of these guys that post frequently and are willing to scour for twats etc would be better fits. Personally I don't even want to read that kind of content when it's spoon-fed, let alone spend time searching for it.

You probably have to do at least these 3 things which I don't do:
  1. Spend a bunch of time on X following recruits and worse yet following all the softshell doogs that fled this place but keep up and post about specific recruiting situations all the time.
  2. Probably be on either the insider bullshit Discord channel or whatever Kim's super secret circle jerk chat is. You don't have to be the one making the bullshit up, but you have to be able to forward it on and pretend like it isn't just made up bullshit. Some people currently do that here with Dawgman.
  3. You have to watch all the recruiting videos so that you can sit and say shit like, "I've never seen film like this 2 star Estacada linebacker's."

I'm thinking about creating more content here but I'm not interested in tracking the dozens of kids who post their offers on Twitter and as much the actual recruiting process anymore. It's not nearly as interesting as it used to be and the process is pretty boring across the board. At this point, just make the 32-team minor league and have a draft for high school players. Maybe try to make it regional somehow.
