MPJ sells the couch

Released him from his LOI? But I thought:

A. They were going to force him to honor it (you know who you are)

B. He only signed financial papers (Hi Paul Biancardi)

P.S. Fuck off Jordan Schultz

I'm an evil bastard. I'd have made him honor it.

Then let him sit on the bench.

My favorite part of the conspiracy that he didn't sign a LOI is that when they send in that paperwork it LITERALLY says at the top "NLI".

I think UW would know if it was an NLI or a financial aid paper. People are fucking dumb.

Then there's the whole thing where a school can't comment, promote, mention, etc. any kid who hasn't signed a NLI and UW had been hyping MPJ through official channels nonstop. But of course, Biancardi, Schultz, and the rest of their twitter hoops intelligentsia brethren somehow always seem to know more than the actual people involved.

I don't think this is true, I think they can comment on a kid who has signed financial aid papers as well as NLI.

But yeah, the school was clear from the beginning that MPJ had signed an NLI.

Yeah, they can comment on Financial Aid papers, a few years ago you couldn't because the penalties were pretty significant if that kid ended up not going to your school. Then the NCAA relaxed those penalties, so more schools take the "risk" of talking about players that sign financial aid papers now.

Just committed to Missouri.

Cons: 0% chance we are a competitive team next season. Romar defending doogs won't shut the fuck up over the next 1.5 years about what could've been.

Pros: Full on cultural rebuild, guys who will actually stay here more than 1 year get more playing time and development.
