Look at you Salem Kewg embracing the old man music shit posting concept. This is the funkiest Hall and Oates ever got.

Daryl has redeemed himself with some good eats and jams at his pad. Prior to that he was pretty pop music'ish.

the video where Cee Lo green and him sing "I Can't Go For That" is auce

Darryl's House is the best. It got me to add several non hit songs to my playlist

But the Hall and Oates top ten is awesome. Solo Hall is more soulful

Even Bomani Jones came close to giving him a compliment once

Don't know if you're serious @salemcoog but if you are, these episodes of "Live from Daryl's House" are a must see. One of my favorites below. If you don't have time, jump to three minutes and catch Rocky Mountain Way

Bobby Caldwell. Like the dude in the above video. I didn't even know he was white.

It’s almost like your trying to compare Halls soulfulness with the Brothers. Sure Hall and Oates was poppy. That’s not the point. It seems some on this thread are confusing Funk with Soul.

Don’t do that.

Nega. Please.

Do not challenge me on the funk. The Throbber was raised on the funk, the whole funk and nothing but the funk.

Daryl Hall is blue-eyed soul and R&B. Definitely not funk in the Bootsy/Zapp & Roger sense.

Now, get the funk out my face.

This was the first Live from Dary's I saw. Fucking awesome. Joe Walsh was always my favorite Eagle.
