I will make a Moscow Mule that will have you faced on the floor before you realize it. Have done this to many people before who "didn't really like moscow mules". It was one of my family's favorite drinks going back to prohibition days and I was forced to make them from about the age of 13 for said family. As DDY said ABC and then the other key is your ginger beer which varies wildly in taste and quality but it MUST be relatively fresh. Muddling or slapping fresh mint can also drastically change the drink but isn't "required". The copper mug does make a difference but really any metal cup will do.

My go to is still a whiskey sour but the Moscow Mule is something that more of my friends(and more specifically the wife's friends) will drink so I end up making them regularly at the house.

At least you admit to putting roofies in your drinks.

You don't need pharmaceuticals to knock someone out if you're a good bartender. Booze is a more than adequate neurotoxin.

I used to drink gin and tonics out of habit. Then I realized gin is gross. Cocktails are for fags. Shots of tequila or whisky and beer for me.

Speaking of Asians and booze, have you gotten into Japanese whisky yet? Their shit is amazing.

I have not. I'm probably too poor to drink it.

There is no such thing as hard alcohol that tastes good. Some are simply better than others. I drink to get drunk.

Although I like a Gin Martini even better

Gin Martini is prolly a #1 seed in its brac[/b]ket. Although, I was made to feel like shit about myself by the RESIDETN COCKTAIL EXPURT OF THE BORED @Dennis_DeYoung in that I've been making them wrong my entire adult life. Who knew you had to put gas in the vermouth right away and using the fridge to a week or so made you a noob.

Agreed. Clear cut blue blood one seed.

It will still end up losing to a Jack and Coke because of how retarded this bored is.

I am too pour as well but I still buy a top shelf Japanese whisky once in a while.

We all have different palates and mine just happens to love the taste of bourbon, scotch, rye, etc, neat.

There's really only one drink for someone such as yourself and that's vodka and some fancy flavored soda water. Refreshing yet filled with drink getting goodness.

1. Hendricks, (diet) Tonic, St. Germaine, Fresh Lemon, Cucumber
2. Moscow Mule (diet)
3. Georgia Mule (Deep Eddy's Peach vodka)
4. Mexican Mule w/ good Tequila (tl;dr)
5. G&T

Regular tonic and ginger beer of course is better, but good enough with the diet.

Rowers are usually more (Nebraska) classy by nature than your typical college football fan and therefor have a good command of things like tending bar.

A true gentleman and a scholar.

Down at the pool the answer of course is vodka and crystal light

Beauty of this concoction is you could easily vary how hi-test you want to make it w/o impacting overall flavor all that much.

Apparently lonesome George played Hec Ed back in the late 70's or something like that.

Ok so I slapped some mint and I think this improves things. Still need to get my metal thermodynamics reads down.

I saw him in Spokane around 1980

Saw George on the 50 states in 50 days tour. Circa 81. Then again in about 86.

Don't recall much of '86. Fifth of vodka and woke up in the backyard.
