Nice towns. Been through many times. Wouldn’t live there. Don’t have the amenities.

If you take into account the reality of which conservative counties would join Greater Idaho this is not true. The population of the counties which would leave would be. about 800,000 and give Idaho one more Congressional district.
Pendleton, Madras, Klamath Falls, Lakeview, Medford, Ashland, Roseburg, Prineville Coosbay/Northbend and La Grande mostly have these amenities.
The area would encompass about 70% of Oregon by Area. It would have 3 four year Colleges and several community colleges one of which SWOCC is a residential community college and awards several 4 year degrees including education. Just FYI
