My assumption is people should be wising up to sending their kids to college just to go now and I would assume that would cut into the mid-level universities. It woudl have been nice to not have schools taking international students over in-state students for decades.

The common person has wised up and realized going into debt for a potential degree from a low to middle tier college is not worth it.

I wish I had a UW degree and was not a Jack Husky but your high school GPA needed to be in the high 3’s to get in and mine wasn’t there. I still should have applied and found out. I also had no interest in attending community college and going to UW later.

My roommate in college was also my high school football teammate. He had like a 3.4 and didn't give a shit about anything extra-curricular but because he went to Switzerland and smoked weed his entire senior year and came back speaking some gibberish form of Swiss German, he got into UW.
