Portland Meadows was recently sold and all operations will cease. This Terminal 2 B.S. that everybody is excited about...right on the water..blah blah. It doesn't work and logistics are a nightmare. Meanwhile you have a site already built and they own multiple areas around it that could be converted to parking.

Am sure the quote will something along the lines of ..."baseball is still coming to Portland...only now...." it will be in shitty North Portland...try not to get shanked.

I like the Terminal 2 site. It has certain advantages. I’m still skeptical baseball will come to Portland however.

There is the Federal Post office site and the Portland Public schools Administration site.

Which franchise would MLB actually relocate to Portland? I can't see expansion happening. MLB has a ton of problems on its hands right now.

Tampa. Can’t get a new ballpark built and not a huge fan base.
