Well at least the Brits still have balls. Nice to see Germany dragged kicking and screaming toward selling Ukraine weapons. I don't even like the Ukraine government anymore, but I hate Putin worse. They all suck.

You shouldn't like ANY government. Welcome to realpolotik[/i].
I'm not that excited about WW3

OK, Klaus
Not sure many in the US are justifying Russia's invasion. I think what was more interesting in that article was Australia's objection to the Chinese base. Hell, Australia became China during Covid. You would think their government would welcome more totalitarianism.

The mystery of why Putin invaded is still a mystery.

Not sure how many of you here are up to date on the political issues with the Solomon Islands, but the citizens there are opposing the prime minister who is aligning with China. Lots of recent protests, and anti-Chinese stuff, while the prime minister is trying to contract with China military to quell the people. China is using it to get a foothold in the South Pacific and wants a puppet there.
US is late to the game in trying to reestablish an embassy there. More foreign policy issues but whatever. We'll see if the US or Australia can prevent a dictator with aligning with China.
Also, FWIW, Aussies hate China. Lot of tariff issues lately.
