The day has now come for the NFL or a startup league named SEC or some other league name to sew up the marketing rights to all major markets while paying top high school grads a negotiable base salary plus incentives
Better yet, two leagues with names like SEC and BIG1 compete like the AL and NL and divide the country in Similar fashion
To get a franchise; proposed teams need to present an approved business model which clearly demonstrates robust facilities and available cash flow to support the payroll and coaching requirements in order to earn a share in the pooled TV revenue
High school players then have a choice, they can sign with the NFL directly; sign with the AAA level minor league club or play ball with the remaining college level teams
The rest of the unsigned players are free to attend the college of their choice and play amateur athletics with a small stipend while they try to sign on with the minor league teams that have earned franchise status
