Eh, maybe I'm overlooking something, but makes little difference to me as long as it doesn't delay the actual coaching search.

13 years ago yesterday a photo of my brother and me ended up on Dawgman’s front page. I think UW played ND that night and we were holding a sign that read “FIRE TY NOW!”

This was a week or 2 after Pool Boy announced Ty would finish the season but was fired.

Why in the fuck you keep someone around in either situation boggles my fucking mind. I’m not sure what TCU is doing with Patterson but if they keep him through the season, OK, no biggie because he’s had past success there and been there forever. He’s earned that right.

Jimmy hasn’t earned shit and he’s truly fired, then fire his ass. Don’t keep him around; all you’re doing is giving the bullshit media something negative to talk about instead of controlling your own story and talking about who you’re gonna hire. And yeah, the media will still bring up Lake but they won’t focus on him. It’s best for both parties to fucking move on with their careers.

Rumors are that he at least helped with the game planning against Baylor

But there’s no benefit keeping a fired coach on the sideline … clean breaks always best
 
Yeah. Hugh was pretty 100% confident. Also said Sam would play. Rotate and find the hot hand.

Brings up the question, let's say Sam plays well. Wins the next 2 games. Do you start him in the AC and blow his redshirt looking to win 7 games and get a better bowl game. Or do you save him for another year.

That if he's any good he won't play anyway.

You play him. If he's not good enough for the NFL by year 4 then it's not a huge loss not having him for year 5.
