He will do exactly the same as Four Loss Pelini, and after five years, they'll offer to either shove him into the AD slot or shove him out the door as a retiree.

Win/win for everyone except the poor Nebraska fans who still think they're a football school.
 
You guys are all incorrect... the script is, a decent coach comes in with a totally different style than the previous guy and you see a bump up (Mora, Neu after Lambo), but then they settle in and are just as crappy as they used to be.

Did Mike Riley ever do as much with less, at Oregon State, as Dennis Erickson did?

Dennis Erickson made OS care about Football. The 2000 team's thug ways would have made Miami blush had anybody cared about OS before they beat NDame in that Fiesta Bowl.

Unfortunately they're shot at becoming truly big time in 2001 on opening night on Nat TV went thud to a tuff Fresno team. and the wheels fell off after that.

1. Oregon (fuck)
2. Us (we all fucking hate our team and are still here anyway)
3. Utah (for whatever reason it seems like some people in Utah care)
4-12. TIE: No one gives a shit about any of the other teams in our conference if they have 3 mediocre (by relative standards) seasons in a row.
