I love how there are only two replies to this so far. 
Almost more cringe than their football takes, the enthusiasm for UW basketball and fluffing of Hopkins was just unreal from the doogman guys. Well after he was clearly a bust.
Fucking Fetters on Twitter claiming that Hopkins "can't catch a break in the tournament" because he drew Andy fucking Enfield?
And Kim acts like this program is a perennial winner or something, and a bigger draw than football. Seriously, what a grifting troll piece of shit.
I hope the ~3 Pac 12 teams get bounced in the dance before they can even sniff the sweet 16.

Pac 12 Network people get one last chance to pretend like anyone outside of Cal/Stanford alums give a fraction of a fuck about that rivalry.

It's a waste of $3 million to buy him out, just like it's a waste of money to build that new basketball training facility. Can people be honest about the "tradition" of UW hoops? It's a lot of shit sandwiches built around a few decent runs to the Sweet-16. UW is not a basketball school, never has been, and never will be. This is coming from someone who was on campus during the peak UW hoops runs with Brandon Roy and Co.
Football is the straw that stirs the drink at UW. Anything which is to the financial detriment, or which detracts from additional investment opportunities in the football program, is a waste of money, IMO.

I had high hopes for this year's team. With Franck and Yates, it would have been a different team. If you can't see that, not sure what to tell you. The problem is, every year it's been something.

…and there's the Kepnang excuse. The guy who only played a few games in 2 years and Oregon probably knew he couldn't hold up from the beginning.
Every year it's been that he doesn't know offense, JB probably wasn't great at it either but still won a ring because of Mello.
