Michigan cancelled

The dominos are beginning to fall. PAC soon to follow, I'd expect. And, to be honest, playing 11 conference games is a hell of a consolation prize. Get rid of the divisions and play the games. Top 2 play in the 'ship. Play Oregon or USC twice. Win.

There is no scenario were 11 conference games will be played.

HTH.

It would be a hell of a consolation prize. FTFY. Now let's see what happens.

Round Robin in division for seeding, then a conference tournament. That's about the best *we're going to get.

It's not happening though. The world is over. Someone better come up with some content and a new bored or two or this site is going to get pretty boring with no football to argue or commiserate about.

We'll be dumpster diving for dinner

If Oregon ends up being our Week 1 opponent, just kill me now and get it over with because there's no way I'm making it to kickoff.

This is just rearranging the deck chairs...They'll cancel the entire season within 2-3 weeks. Thank Texas and Florida

there are consequences to not having a competent government and society.

It feels like projecting only a 10-12% reduction (or whatever it was) in football ticket revenue for this season might have been a wee bit optimistic

I wonder if they are thinking people will still buy the cardboard cutouts even though none of the games will be played

It would be even better if they gave all the fans $50,000 each. Which is as likely as 11 conference games being played.

I'll be in line for a full refund.

What the fuck is the difference in regards to the virus of playing all in conference to playing the whole schedule? The virus is everywhere...makes no sense.

Nothin makes sense, at all. Death rate plummeted, kids are minimally affected, masks are useless... nothin makes sense, other than this is alllllll political and I can't wait until November to get over this shit.

“Can we interest you in a collectible Crazy Larry bobblehead instead, Mr. Damone, signed by Husky Legends Jake Browning and Kyler Manu?”

Still on stage 1 of grief, while most on here have moved on to bargaining or depression. Props to Damone for jumping straight ahead to acceptance in March.

You like to refer to the national championship as the ship. Makes it sound hipper. It's what you like to do.

If there is truly a deadly pandemic sweeping the nation, why are they playing ANY games?

They won't. This is March in slow motion. We're at the stage where people were bandying about ideas like not letting fans 60+ attend, letting older coaches delegate duties to assistants, and playing the NCAA tourney at only 1site with multiple courts.
