Kind of smart for the Falcons to start him against the shitty Giants to see if he is the guy or not

Hey lets not call the new guy out for typecasting chill. Its his first post. Normally call it out but lets welcome new members. But no way He is going to rush. At his time at Washington, Michael Penix Jr avoided rushing because he was injury prone. He only ran with the ball if there was no other way at Washington. He is not a running QB. No way he does this with the falcons unless hes desperate to keep the starting job.

@Bruce he may not run much and it ain't cause he's black, but he had a good forty time and I think if he's not worried about injuries he will run more then the two times Kirk did all year. I ain't saying he's gonna be Mike Vick but he is a bigger threat than kirk

Penix is a decent scrambler and runner. He showed it a handful of times at UW.
But he was reluctant to run or take hits at UW. I can't imagine him being more aggressive about it in the NFL.

Penix will not be looking to run. He’s a passer. And he’s injury prone and will have a very short career if he makes a habit of it.
