Helmets, cleats, jersey, and pop warner league fees >> pool membership

Air Jordans, youth basketball league fees >> pool membership

Baseball bat, glove, cleats, little league fees >> pool membership

I love how he calls swimming a privileged sport but because of Tiger he doesn't say anything about golf?

The difference is, Whitlock has thrown a football, shot a basketball, and swing a baseball bat and golf club.

My boss at work has a couple daughters that swim competitively. He always complains how much it costs. Says it is like 6 grand a year (for both) just in team fees, not including suits, and whatever else the fuck you need for it. Not sure how accurate those numbers are, but 3K a year per kid doesn't seem cheap.
