Memo to Jonathan Smith and Chris Petersen

Get your offensive staff in a room. Put on
Oregon film. Copy what they do. Anyone
who doesn't like watching their offense
isn't a football fan and can go die.

agree, but the Oregon offense is a philosophy that many don't embrace. we're soft and finesse and shit

Everyone with an offense plungers Oregon State's defense. They're finishing last in the #FuckingDreckfest that is the Pac-12 North for a reason.

#CanRiley

Anyone who can't see they are the
best team with the best coaching
right now ain't looking very hard.
Good offense ain't about smashmouth,
it's about creating space. Oregon does
it better than anybody and no one else is
close. That's coaching.

Auburn wouldn't play within
20 points of Oregon this year.
Good luck to Bama if they make
it. They're gonna need it.

Every team is different every week. You wouldn't want to be playing Auburn tonight

Does anyone remember the coogs almost beat the ducks this year, if not for the refs?

And sark tried the Oregon offense last year, you remember that? Turns out we don't have mariotta or a fast offensive line.

Rick made an interesting remark about the spread today on the Pac-12 show. Basically said it was for teams that can't recruit enough big beef.

In my opinion, their offense is fun to watch, but Oregon has always lost when it mattered most to teams like Auburn, Bama, and tOSU. I'd rather have an offense that can beat those teams... and not copy Oregon.

Yes, they always win the big one.

It's why they have so many Nattys

I think our scheme has some issues, but the solution isn't always to copy Oregon. We have done that enough. No team that copies Oregon has ever beat them. The way to beat them is to have better lines and kick the shit out of them up front.

So the memo to Chris Petersen should be to recruit and develop a lot of bad motherfuckers on the OL and DL and get a great QB.

I agree about the lines but Oregon has found
a way to win without dominant line play. Everyone
in the country is after the studs on the lines and only
the premium programs get a reasonable share of
them. It's the genius of Oregon's system. They win
without premium linemen.
