Vegans beware...

Love meat, seafood, wild pork, seafood, fish...

But have to go with beef.

Tomahawk(@swaye) ribeye. 3 pounds tonight over a charcoal, applewood, smoking grill.

USDA choice? You sound pour, pod.

For the record, there is a lot of info out there that most prime at the supermarket isn't real prime and that choice is actually the better buy, especially if it's Angus beef.

A few different cuts of steak. Ribeye, filet are my two favorites. Prefer cooking using the reverse sear method with those cuts. When cooking on a charcoal grill give me a tri-tip roast every day. Sear it over hot coals for a couple minutes on each side and then go indirect heat at around 275 for the duration to get to rare/med rare.

This is the way to go. That’s exactly how the above got cooked. Seared then indirect smoked.

I see Nachos on a FO mission again as well. Dammit man, can’t win for losing.

About as clear a case of abundance as I’ve ever seen.

Beef of course. So delicious.
But smoked ribs and pork shoulder are phenomenal. And uhh bacon!
Chicken gets credit for being healthier. And for being Flexible enough to make amazing Fried chicken And wings and chicken sandwiches.

Lamb! Where is lamb on the list? Such a complex meat. Roasted a whole one once. Amazing and delicious.

Goat is the most consumed red meat in the world. It has its place in curries.

Seafood, between crab, lobster, salmon halibut cod. Can eat it all day.

I like Buffalo, venison and veal in that order. Too rare to focus on but buffalo is great.

Lamb chops with grilled sweet peppers mmmmmm

Prime Rib mmmmm cooked in my oil-less fryer in 2 1/4 hours

Pork ribs. Secret is 45 min in oven wrapped in foil, take out and let it rest for an hour in foil. The fat sucks back into the meat. Then remove foil and place on the grill for an hour in spice rub (cayenne, brown sugar, salt, smoked paprika) at lower temp like 300. Finish with favorite basting sauce for 15 min or so at higher temp like 400. Let it rest covered for 10 min.

My absolute favorite is USDA Prime New York steak. Filet Mignon lacks flavor, and I've never been a huge ribeye fan either.

A nice one inch thick USDA prime New York steak
spray each side with a little Pam
Season each side with either Penzys Chicago or Penzys Mitchell Street seasoning
Smoked in my Green Mountain grill for 4-5 minutes each side at a maxed out 500 degrees
Pull out and wrap in tin foil for 10 minutes
Enjoy your medium rare steak

Also, this poll sucks because you're missing lamb. If you haven't had a well prepared rack of lamb in your life, then you haven't lived yet.

I think v bone in Rib Eye has more flavor than boneless and it costs less
