Prasad deserves some credit here since he's been a pretty staunch pro-vaxx the whole way. Not a lot, but some.

 
I talked with a very cool father of my neighbor today about house remodeling stuff. Near the end of our talk he said "I wear a mask anytime I'm going to be around a group of people."

Exactly what we are dealing with. A complete failure by millions of Americans to understand some pretty basic science. You could have substituted "cuck" for cool.

WTF is going on in Liberal Wastelands like NPR, which far too many people I know listen to. My buddy the other day said "the Hospitals are completely jammed right now" [with Covid patients - he thinks]. Yet, another buddy who actually works in hospitals and visits them everyday says the UW, for example, is practically empty, and the Covid % of patients is about 12%, up from about 6% to 8% a couple months ago. The joke is that 2% would be a 100% increase from 1%.

The inability to grasp basic numbers is beyond comprehension. Fuck the science, what about basic math, for fuck sake?

Every story I read leads with a shocking headline about hospitals filling up, then about two paragraphs in, they explain they are massively short-staffed, and cannot even discharge people in a timely manner who don't even need to be there.

Has everyone left of center lost their fucking minds? It's like Invasion of the Body Snatchers out there. Collective stupidity and insanity are like the hot new thing in our culture, and everyone seems happy to climb aboard. Mind boggling.
