I might drive over to SD and Santa Barbara around Labor Day. Hell A is a shit hole with smog, crime, stupid celebs and it takes 2 hours to drive 17 miles so I'll skip that nonsense. If there's a mask mandate there, I'm sure as hell not going to abide. I started to make people tell me to put it on in January. Nobody did....

I was somewhat encouraged today.

We flew out of LAX this morning, which is mask mandatory in the airport (with periodic reminder announcements and signs saying anyone over 2 years old needs to wear a mask - which my family said fuck off to). It was maybe 30-40% masks inside the terminal, at most. I saw 4-5 police officers and none of them had masks on.

Where I live in North OC, it’s like 10-20% mask wearing, at most, in like, a grocery store situation. They’re saying that LA county is going to go back to indoor mask mandate soon. It’ll be interesting to see how many people submit to the mandate. I don’t think many in my area of OC will, if it comes to that.

What I've noticed down here in the CA central valley is almost nobodynis wearing masks except near college towns where it's like 80% and for whatever reason at the church I go to there is a very % of face diapers even on young children which is child abuse IMO. I think it mightbhave something to do with the asian persuasion in this parish. Either that or these paranoid idiots work for the government.
