I hadn’t been in Fred Meyer in a few weeks before yesterday. Substantial increase in mask wearing. A clear minority, but still. Interesting, or not.

The only place I see a substantial percentage of mask wearing is in church. Down from about 80-90%, it's holding at about 20-25%. As a Catholic, this doesn't surprise me because 50% or more of all Catholics vote RAT. An even higher % don't believe in the true presence. I guess like Jews, Catholicism is becoming more ritual and tribal than sincere worship.

Starting to see noticeably more masks in the Portland area. Used to be the occasional Asian chick or real old person. Now, the woman at the car wash this morning was wearing a loose cloth mask. Science.
