What bothers me about people that push for it is that they might actually be right in that if the exact correct people were in there they might make things quite good.

But those people ain't ever gonna be in there. Because human nature makes it a fuck ton easier to grab power for yourself
 
I’m old enough to remember the left pointing to China when they were showing maskless people enjoying life because they “did it right.”

While at the same time we were in lockdowns because Trump didn’t take Covid seriously.

Any one proclaiming "zero covid" as their policy is not competent in either epidemiology or economics and is extremely high on the fascist spectrum.
 
My wife got her 3rd booster yesterday despite saying she wouldn't. Fear is a hell of a drug
