Yup, just attended a packed concert at the Moda Center. Some mask holdouts, but very rare.
It’s simple. The media and the WH don’t want Covid to continue to be the issue of our day.
We are back to Russia! Russia! Russia! with a side of “it ain’t poor old joe’s fault that gas costs 6.00/gallon”.

Update for my @PureBloodDawgs:
October 2021 my(?) Fortune 500 company rolled out OSHA compliant vaccine mandate. Told me I wouldn’t be able to travel for company work even if I masked and tested, effectively that id need a new role in the company (I’m in national sales). This would take effect Jan 4th, then omicron omicroned late December, they put the back to office on hold until 2 weeks ago. Now going back to office and they’re dropping everything, no vaccine certificate, no testing, no masks. HR lady even told me today she assumed I wouldn’t be allowed to stay at the company until a few days ago.
Pretty relieved to not be getting in the breadline IN THIS ECONOMY, I still feel zero loyalty through this so we’ll see.
