So I got my email this week from work telling me to get fully vaccinated by 1-4 or I lose my job. They specifically state that it’s an OSHA mandate and that their hands are tied. This seems like an overstep by OSHA but this is my livelihood. My health insurance for my whole family. I’m so angry right now. I’m backed into a corner and will be forced to vaccinate. To have politicians, talking heads and coworkers say that it would be my choice to not vaccinate is retarded. Losing my ability to earn an income or staying unvaccinated isn’t a choice. It’s being forced. Oh well. Best just roll up the sleeve. FMFE

We can die together in solidarity. I did it to watch Raider games and help my daughter feel better about her vaccination. I'm not going to get a booster any time soon. Fight the man as long as you can. Your back is now against the wall. Have you considered a career change?

I'm an uneducated white guy. I've been at my job for 17 years. I'm making more where I'm at then I deserve to, good insurance, kids to feed, mortgage to pay, yada, yada, yada. Hard to walk away and find a company that won't be incorporated into a mandate of some sort. I could probably build fences if I didn't need health insurance for my family. Did that kind of work when I was younger. It's hard but not so bad. I don't know. I'll probably just get the shot. I'm kind of out of options.

I think it’s a good idea. Go full libertarian on all of it. But let’s also put no restrictions on what type of treatment the individual can choose once infected.

In general also assume that everyone is fat and unhealthy and rate them for premiums accordingly. Low BMI, or two or three scores in a row that show favorable trends qualifies for discounts as well. Other discounts off the “fat score” for following recommended treatments for other non fat related issues.

Diabetics get big premium increases. Also need some genetic testing for Brca 2 genes and raise their rates.

I’m saying go with the inverse, start everyone at the fat rate and let them get adjusted way down with proof of health or proof of good progression on their health.
