Just got a snippet of Shut Her Down Governor Kate Brown. First question was some leftard reporter (redundant, I know) about why Kate was shutting the state down again and asked was it because corporate interests didn't want the economy shut down. Kate blithered and just said they were watching to make sure the hospitals weren't swamped and that bodies weren't stacked like cordwood (might have embellished a little bit). Next was someone stating that high wealth districts were 40% vaccinated while poor minority communities were only 26% vaccinated and what Kate was going to do about this racist vaccine allocation. Kate said they were making a great effort, but needed to do a lot better and whined about wealthy people being able to take off work and travel long distances. The main Portland vaccination center is the Oregon Convention Center which is within walking distance or short bus or light rail travel from the inner city black community in north Portland. Much more of a trip from West Linn or Lake Oswego or Eastmoreland.
Finally, hit some golf balls this morning and then went to the putting green and the only other guy there was some 35 year old dude wearing a mask. Never got within 30 feet of him. Can't even imagine what sort of life view this guy has. Probably drove there with a mask on.
