KCPQ Channel 13 today ran a new study from the UW on PG women and death from Covid.
Study said pregnant women were 13X as likely to die, 3.5X as likely to need hospitalization than others infected.
They posted these numbers 240 studied, 3 deaths. did not provide other info. Hopefully they will show how many were hospitalized. They did state that the 3 deaths had additional health issues such as obesity. They were minorities also.
3/240 = .0125 or 1.25%
Then they moved on to total Washington cases
300,000 positive cases and 4100 deaths. 4100/300000 = .01367 or 1.367%
I am not good at maff but something does not seem right on the UW numbers
