Wait, it wasn't the pangolin? When the bat claim was debunked, I was told it came from eating a pangolin.
 
One of the more incredible tricks that those on the left were able to pull off was the media-supported talking point that you were a racist if you supported the idea that COVID could have been a terrible mistake at a communist government facility in Wuhan meant to study these kinds of viruses, but you weren’t a racist if you blamed an infected animal at a public wet market where Chinese people go to buy dead bats to eat in their soup.

I can’t be the only person that thinks the latter sounds a hell of a lot more racist than the former, but I guess I’d have to check with the idiots on here, since they’re the people this kind of absurd bullshit is marketed to.
