Usually when folks are being smug insincere and claim anecdotal, it's for a one-off event.

There are at least 9 events of severe injury to children. Undoubtedly many more.

Even 9 in 1,000,000 wouldn't pass clinical testing. It's more than statistically relevant in a small cohort. If I remember correctly vaccines need to be greater than six sigma for safety especially in children which is 3 in 1,000,000 so yeah...

It's like saying only 9 Boeing 787's crashed last year.

Especially considering the risks from covid are lower than that for the young.
