The kid is probably immune-compromised because his overbearing parents were old, sickly and gray when they had the kid. Seen that a lot with raising kids in the City.

Speaking as someone who actually has immuno compromised family these people don't actually give a fuck about us. They tried to freeze us out of schools, Sports, etc. We are just their excuse for authoritarianism.

I would respect the fuck out of your family's desire to protect themselves. But not by taking a fucking money-corrupted non-vaccine that doesn't seem to do shit and might fuck me up forever. Too big of an ask, I'm afraid. And equally selfish.
