But with Sample's departure, that bumps Kizer up the depth chart so now we have to rely on him more and he can't replace Sample because Sample was a complete TE who was criminally under used in the passing game.

It feels like you're trying to apply the BTE standard (quality receiver) to a pure WTE (quality blocker) recruit. Our WTE role is primarily a blocking role with passing upside.

No argument on the utilization factor for Sample, but the same argument applies to Kizer. Not saying he will end up being Sample, but he's nearly a Dissly-level blocker already.

I'm withholding judgement on West until I see senior film. He has barely played football and Biggins said he's taken a step forward this offseason (I know, that isn't much). If he sucks as a senior, I'm happy to eat crow.

He caught two balls last season. I watched both of them. Couldn't believe how slow he is. That's why they don't throw to him. Paopao has told the media Kizer needs to improve as a receiver. It's coming straight from the coaches. The one ball thrown his way during the Spring preview he drops after getting hit. There's a huge fucking difference between Kizer as a receiver and guys like Redman and Kole Taylor. It's night and day.

I shouldn't have to at this point. People should just recognize that I know more than them about football talent at this point. It's like fucking trumptards telling scientist that global warming is "just their opinion". No, some people know more about a certain topic than you and their "opinion" is based on facts, research, reasoning, and experience and should be respected. I don't know shit about baseball talent or golf talent, but I know football talent. Respect it.
