It wasn't just throwing to Ross making Browning look good. Ross made the offense look good. His speed and dynamic ability meant a more open guys. Opponents couldn't put 2-3 guys on Pettis and expect that no one else gets open. Smiff doesn't make many good plays, and that was masked by how good Ross was. Smiff is just too much of a fucking idiot to realize how good Ross made him look last year, and he keeps calling the same crap and expecting it to work.

Point I'm making is I refuse to give browning a pass on sucking ass because his beloved John Ross is no longer on the team.
He had an amazing year yes, but I don't think Jakes downfall is attributed to him not having Ross as much as he just sucks at throwing down field with his noodle arm and holds onto the ball too long
