You can't tell me this happened all in the matter of a week ...

You recruit your own problems ... in this case it is looking like Malloe was lied to and never caught on ...

And yes, I do think that an essential part of recruiting is being able to judge character and be able to tell when they are being fed a line.

How so? I'd think the exact opposite. Everything that ive seen that has come out suggests the kid was telling Malloe and Petersen that he was all in while secretly meeting and planning with USC coaches.

What do you want him to do, go live at the kid's house and tap his phone lines?

The kid was just up here last weekend. If someone never caught on, it was more than just Malloe. These things happen.

It sucks to lose this kid, but if you can't handle the ups and downs ...
 
Ok, so let's back up. If marlon goes to usc, do we still think Malloe is a good recruiter? Who has he successfully brought in?

lol, if this was the nfl, then yea i might agree with you, but these players only stay around for 3 years. A coach is more important

Basically, yes.

He was responsible for one recruit. ONE. He should be residing in Marlon's mind and facechat 16 hours a day.
