Mark Redman, 2020 4* TE, Newport Beach (Corona Del Mar), CA (Committed)

"For me it was Mark Redman, tight end from Southern California, heading to Washington," Huffman said in a video with fellow 247Sports analysts Blair Angulo and Greg Biggins when they were talking about the top performers of the day. "At times he's overlooked by other people because two of his teammates (Ethan Garbers to Washington and John Humphreys to Stanford) also headed to the Pac-12, but today I thought Mark Redman had one of the best days after (Arizona State-bound) LV Bunkley-Shelton of all pass-catchers. Had a great rep against Justin Flowe, who was our Alpha yesterday. Was basically held the entire rep, pulled the ball in, got the first down. We've seen the last couple of days Mark Redman really make the case to be a 4-star on 247. He's a composite 4, but he's really cementing himself as one of the best tight ends in the country in this class."

I liked Bunkley-Shelton a lot. He’s a good football player. There were some really good West Coast WR’s this year.

All 3 days at the Poly Bowel practices so far have been dominated by LV. He’s easily been the best WR and has just burned everyone. I really liked him as a slot WR but I can’t complain about the 3 freaks we? have.
Lots of schools passed on him. I've heard there are concerns about grades.

The skill guys we got this year along with Redman are going to be a huge upgrade. We actually did seem to level up with our offensive recruits this year. If they end up sucking we did something seriously wrong.

That's some dooging I can agree with.

WTF is going on? Do these guys feel they won't fit in with the new O schemes? Is the fact that we haven't yet solidified our coaching staff causing us to lose recruits?

I thought DeBoar was going to bring some coaches from Fresno but now I'm starting to wonder if those coaches are choosing to stay there since Tedford is back.

Kids have ptsd from the lake era and want a fresh start most likely. I am fine with it as flipping the roster is not a bad thing at this point. New blood.

I won’t stop replaying his one catch in his career in my head

That would be fine if we were actually getting new blood. Haven't seen any yet. Also haven't seen many coaching announcements so that these coaches can go out and recruit.

The coaches, both announced and unannounced are recruiting for UW right now. Chill out. There has been more action on the recruiting bored in the last week than we saw for months.

I hate McMillan and Odunze but I haven’t been able to quit them.

You have no idea how ironic this comment is. Nothing personal, just getting prepped for end of the year awards. You’ll laugh
