Not awesome to get a decommitment from a 3* O'Dea OL. It's awfully warm for December though, so let's LIPO. Kid clearly made a kneejerk decision to commit to UW but got some ego-boosting offers and now wants to be courted, take visits, and chase tail. I can't blame him for that. It doesn't mean he doesn't like UW. If UW and Huff still want him, I bet he comes back around. Now, please, continue the meltdown.

For work I did a career fair recruiting visit at college station. Let’s just say I’ve seen NW girls for my entire life and I’ve seen TAMU girls for 3 hours in their student Union. The poonani in those 3 hours was better than the entire 42 years of my life in the NW. plus tamu chicks are apparently known for their promiscuity and parties. Youre not wrong, however UW football players are going to have no problem smashing the admittedly smaller pool of 10s in Seattle

The flip side of this is, outside of athletes, if youre an attractive dude in Seattle that has your shit together and lifts, ALL the 10s are going to be into you, along with the cute granola muchers and gothy types.

In SoCal, the Southwest, and the South, youre competing with a lot more of the "bro" wannabe or actually alpha male types.

Nabou committed to the Huskies in June, but he also wanted to take visits to schools, both of the unofficial and official variety, so he and the Huskies mutually parted ways.

"I wanted to visit other schools, the coaches weren’t really liking that because I was committed, and I wanted to check out other states, so they took the offer away," said Nabou.

I'm with the coaches on this one. Not sure why he committed before going on the FSP camp circuit if we wanted to go visit other schools. Its even weirder because he even cancelled a trip to Oregon State to commit. The only other logical explanation is he committed to UW because he thought he wasn't getting any other offers, and if that the case then we were never going to keep him anyways.
 
Sounds like they’re doing half of the Petersen strategy. They’re playing hardball on visits once dudes commit but not giving the initial pitch that “this commitment is worth something. Don’t commit if you’re not ready.”

Not too well thought out. If they would’ve given that talk to Nabou, I bet we’d end up getting him.

I assure you Nabou understood that UW’s offer was meaningful and UW expected a commitment to be equally meaningful. The only things that would cause UW to pull an offer are: 1. Failing HS; 2. Arrest; and 3. Reopening your recruitment.

I wish I could say the same thing for other schools.
