Marcus Henderson III, 4* OL, Memphis, TN (Memphis University School)

Eklund is saying he's just visiting family and he doesn't even think Scott Huff is there.

He then corrected himself and said "he spent most of the day with Huff and had a "great" meeting with Petersen."

Way to be dialed in and on top of all things UW recruiting Scott you lazy fuck. We forgot this kid existed until all of a sudden he's visiting UW and meeting with the coaches. He's got offers from Alabama, Auburn, Ohio State, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, Michigan, Oklahoma, Penn State, and Texas A&M. Gee, you think he's someone we should have been more aware of as being from the state of Washington and interested in UW?

@ThoroughDawg was correct with how he edited my comment then, jesus.

"Honestly, I was in awe of what I saw. Down in the south, they always tell you that Pac 12 football isn't real football and if you're a kid from the south with a Pac 12 offer, you should still stay home because that's where they play real football. From what I saw and the history of the program (at Washington), they're right up there with the top schools in the SEC. They play good football out there and that was something I don't want to say I wasn't expecting it, but I guess, I wasn't really sure what to expect." [/i][/b]

Now that's a glowing recap. Nab this kid.

"I have a lot of great options available to me right now, but Washington is an offer I have been wanting for a while," Henderson said. "If they offered, I think it's safe to say they'd get into that top group (of schools) and that I'd most likely take an official visit there."[/i]

Hey maybe we should offer him.

Also thought this was interesting

"Last season I was 315 and today (at Washington) they weighed me in at 275. I'm so much lighter and quicker. It also helped with my knee. I tore my meniscus in my left knee and I got it scoped. I missed a couple of games, three or four, and with the weight I was carrying, it made it hard on my knee, so to have that weight gone now is amazing."[/i]

Those are the kinds of comments that you look at and realize that if you want him and pursue hard you have a tremendous opportunity to pull in

It wouldn’t shock me at all if we lose one of Hatchett, Rosie, or Murao that we go aggressively after him

I'd take him even if we got all three. Fuck it. Can never have enuff maulers.

I'd take this guy over Hatchett and Murao.
