Pappas Bros is the only decent steakhouse in Dallas these days. Fucking wet-aging bullshit. Biernat's and Bob's succumbed to wet-aging a while ago and overpriced shit-barns like Double Eagle and (god forbid) Perry's have always been on that 'space-saving' wet-age train. Fucking disgusting.

Wet-aging literally makes no sense.

III Forks isn't bad, though.

I'm currently in DFW and DFW has come along way since I moved here 9 years ago; but steaks in Dallas have been a disaster since the 90s swept in the $30k-millionaire culture. Thankfully it's on its way out.

Dallas is pretty fun these days.

PS - Pappas Bros has cheap half-bottles of Krug for a long time when I lived here. A real dry aged piece of US Prime and Krug is literally the best combo possible.

@H_D Thanks for asking. I can't really speak to the moobs - not my area of expertise. Regarding the gunt... I just think Sark needs a little more time to get his own fat cells in there, but overall it's shaping up nicely. 2021 is looking like it'll be a special year for Sark's gunt.

You'd probably be better served flying to Dallas when you factor in time, gas money, and the obligatory stop at Buccee's
 
It's true, $160RT United, 10:15 flight, arrive terminal E 11:50, skylink to A24, crawfish etouffle, back on a flight at 1:30, home by 3.

Now all you need is a reason to expense it.

I wasn't planning on leaving the airport.

Fly in Friday, eat, sleep on bench/ground in terminal, repeat a few times, then fly home Sunday.

Ah yeah, I didn't have the Buccee's stop in my calculation.
