I would rather have saved Manu for Oregon, but I barely give a shit and there really is little to no drop off with the other guys.

While BONEM would definitely be nice it's contextually meaningless after the Wisconsin loss.
Give the kids whatever they want to keep actually playing and not plan their transfer to a team still playing for something in November.

Also, redass coaches are done. This isn't the tail wagging the dog, but if a player in that situation asks to have it play out a certain way, it's an easy decision. Coach said "what do you want to do?" and then respected the player's decision. This is a nothing burger and Fisch should be commended for being a good human being lizard person about it.
