Manu wasted on UCLA

Did Manu do anything spectacular tonight? Or are we just mad just to be mad?

Manu is from Orange County. Played in Santa Ana. He played in his hometown so his family could watch him. The other LB’s are also good. This isn’t a big deal.

This isn't high school football and yes it could be a big deal if he is one of the top 2 LBs and he doesn't play next week it's directly affecting UWs ability to compete. Not complicated

Beat Oregon. Nothing else matters.

My conspiracy theory is that if Jedd Fisch thought he was going to be coaching at ucLa next year Manu would not have played in this game.

that’s what I’m sayin. I don’t want to get all tin foil hat… But why would you care more about this game than Oregon?
You're dumber than a bag of hammers. What does saving him for Oregon do vs playing him against both UCLA and Oregon?

I’m not losing sleep over this one. We have well documented problem of beating UCLA down there, a well documented problem of winning on the road under Judd, the kid wanted to play infront of friends and family and we? Had to get the 200lb monkey off our back…end of discussing, ‘nuff said on this
….now, letting Coleman pad his stats on that 2yrd goal line run is worth bitching about

I wish there was a way to be notified of only RoadDawg's posts. He seems to ALWAYS be on the logical side of any issue on the bored. And, if he slips up once (happens to disagree with me) in a while - that is okay too.

Jedd said in his post game presser that he promised Manu that he could play in the UCLA game (RB) if he came to Washington. Why would ANY MORONIC (hell, even a non moronic fan) fan want a coach to go back on his word to an athlete and his parents ?

Now let the debate begin on which of his previous games should he not have played in.

It's nice that Jedd doesn't have to worry about winning
Give him a juice box and a pat on the head

Jedd likely doesn't see LB depth as an issue. At least not as big as it looked earlier in the year.
Now tell that dufus to lose his shitty visor and that UW did not win three B1G road games this year and we'll talk.

You say this now but I'll circle back when Alexander gets hurt in practice and they need to run Bryant out there all game

Coaches need to give the players what they want and he wanted to play. We have to much linebacker depth. Will be tough keeping all these guys in this era.

Bryant has been playing and playing well...

Agreed. If Jedd was even a little worried about winning (and even trying a little to do the same) he would have a better record (this year) than deBORE at Bama.

Because, obviously, wanting, caring and trying has to account for at least one win.

Disagree. He is the worst LB that they play and not reliable against Oregon with that I've seen
