I can't find one useful thread about Lyons either on here or on Dawgman so...

What the fuck? I thought he was signing with us. Anyone know what's up?
 
No seriously. I had a long, shitty day and finally checking in I can't find one fucking explanation of what's up with this. Twitter, DM, here... Nor can I find any threads where this is being discussed. Am I the only person who gives a shit about the status of our best recruit this cycle?
 
I've been wondering too. I know I read somewhere, I think it was a thread here, that he was less than 100% and would be a Feb signee. I think that was last night, and then I didn't see shit about him all day.
 
Exactly. And the consumate fags on here are never restrained about anything. So why are we so hush hush about this topic?
 
When he committed to UW last week he said he wasn’t signing until February. He would have picked USC or UCLA if they had a spot for him and I guess he’s waiting till February to see if they make room for him, otherwise he’ll sign with UW. Softest of Soft commits
 
He committed the day before Germie was announced.

If he stays, great, but it's hard to get worked up one way or the other about WR recruits the way the offense looks and numbers we already have.

Yeah. That is the position group of least concern moving forward.

Honestly, as much as I love Lyons I think I’d prefer another proven portal DB. I’d take a one year rental on Evan Williams for next years team than the future of Lyons in the program. That’s a hard thing to type but next years team is close and I want another semifinal.
 
It's remarkable to me how, best I can tell, no journalist is following up with this matter. If they have, they've been silenced. Can you imagine all the papers Vorel could move with a scoop?
