Pretty good walk down memory lane if you owned a Commodore or "Trash 80" computer in the early 1980s.

I prefer the 70s singer songwriters or a lot of grunge and other stuff in the 90s.

Too much hairspray, spacey outfits, douchebag hairdos, and of course Madonna on MTV in the 80s for me.

Truth be told, I think the 80s was the gayest decade on record until this one.

I loved my childhood in the 80s. San Diego was still paradise on Earth and hadn't gotten LAified yet.

Don't think I cracked up my first beer until like 1990 though.

The 80s were a great decade musically speaking - especially the first half of the decade - but it still pales in comparison to the 70s or 60's.
 
60s and 70s for music. 80s for movies and even TV like Miami Vice

Most of what is entertainment today is remakes of 80s stuff

The 80s did have its moments for music. In particular dance music (son of disco) and R&B soul stuff. And rap and hip hop came into its own, although the 90s would be the golden age
