Loverboy - Turn Me Loose (Official Video)

Throbber's first concert was Molly Hatchet with Loverboy as the opening act before Turn Me Loose hit the airwaves.

They blew Hatchet off the stage.

Brother and I had a Loverboy LP on vinyl sometime around 1980ish. I think it was called Get Lucky. We played it a lot. I don't listen to them now, but they were pretty easy on the ears back in the day.

Who remembers when if Ken Griffey Jr. made a great play or hit a double, they would play Loverboy's "The Kid is Hot Tonight". Early 90's Kingdome M's game is something we will never get back.

When Phil Bradley would come to the plate, the organist would play the theme to "Batman". I never understood why but I loved it.

Because he was the only guy to hit over .300 as a regular starter in 1985 and 1986???

Gorman Thomas hit .215 in 1985 and held out of spring training the next year because he wanted more money. I remember somebody on the radio, probably Wayne Cody, saying "Just think how much he'd be asking for if he had hit .230"
