Looks Like We Dodged a Bullet with Joe Mixon

I finally watched it. Mixon came in and went up to the dude who backed off because who wants to get their ass kicked by a football player. Mixon is walking away and the girl hits him and he decks and then her boyfriend was nice enough to help her get up.

If Mixon was out of control the dude would have been punched right off the bat.

And I don't blame the guy for backing off and letting her get punched. She didn't appear to be worth an ass kicking

I have actually had conversations about this. A big football player could knock out of a 5'9" 150 pound drunk dude and would probably get minimal backlash. If that little guy used a racial slur, a large portion of people would say he deserved it.

If the same football player slapped the same size woman in the head or pushed her down, he would never live it down.

I have actually had conversations about this. A big football player could knock out of a 5'7" 150 pound drunk dude and would probably get minimal backlash. If that little guy used a racial slur, a large portion of people would say he deserved it.

If the same football player slapped the same size woman in the head or pushed her down, he would never live it down.

Which is good for society as obviously excluding 50% of the population from many careers because they need to have babies isnt a great idea. Recent study showed women doctors had better results in life-threatening situations...interesting.

No, nobody is getting charged for two slaps without injury that happens thousands of times a day.
