No - I like him. He is almost a clone of Jaylen Johnson... when he gets here in two years, he'll be around 260-280, I'm sure. I love his upside as an inside guy playing for us when he's 24. Solid DDY 2, 3-star kid.

It's just that since December 1st we've been trying to get all these big time kids and gotten killed for everyone who wasn't a chip shot... and then we get thrown a random bone from god to emphasize what a shitty close it is.
 
Is he allowed to workout while he's on a mission? He might come in down 30-40lbs. May need to redshirt. Should be able to hit the field in 2020 (maybe 2021).
 
He'll take his mission to some godforsaken outpost in Eastern Europe, come back at 180 lbs and be a punter

Because he picked UW, that is correct. Had it been BYU, the assignment would be ministering to wayward athletic trainers in Arizona.

I will say this... it takes fucking balls to have your dad die, then be like 'I'm still going on a mission and then going to UW'. If anyone had an excuse to skip their mission and sign with some shitty school in Utah or Utah, it was him.

Yeah that's some real tough shit, didn't know the kid yesterday but I'm rooting for him now.
 
East High School is a good school to get a kid from down there. They crank out poly kids all over the front 7's of various colleges.
