People are stupid and they expect every host to be a local when on reality, most aren't. Radio hosts go to different parts of the country all the time. Look at Bonaduce.

Bonaduce was really fucking funny sometimes. I remember Carolla played a clip of Paula Abdul out of her fucking mind on prescription drugs and Bonaduce named all the drugs she was on and was adamant that what he said was exactly what she did. It's hard to explain and my memory is a little fuzzy, but I remember I was in tears from laughing so hard.

Tonight's stupidity from Softy: "Does this loss cost Gonzaga Seattle" ... then when called on his stupidity cites Katz and Lunardi saying that they will "get shipped" and of course losing context on that since Katz just said that there is virtually no chance that they leave the West Coast the first weekend.
 
When I lived in Seattle I would occasionally listen to sports talk radio, and probably before 2010 I would listen to DC sports talk radio every so often (especially during Redskins season).

I finally realized how stupid it all was and decided it was making me stupid. So I quit listening. All it does is make you dumber.

No, I shouldn't be surprised. The success of Oregon has made Portland mildly obsessed with college football. I bet the station I listen to talks more huskies than 3/4 of the Seattle stations combined.
