Brewer is leaving KJR to spend time with his family. They have some new guys coming in. Kim's looking for sponsors for his show. Salk fired Michael Grey on 710. Conclusion- local sports radio is the dumpster fire of all dumpster fires. Maybe more changes to come according to Alex Akita who didn't get the memo that Kim is a fucking idiot so you don't want to emulate his self-aggrandizing ways.

How pathetic is Seattle as a sports town that a guy comes here from Boston, then quits after one year yet is able to come back with a promotion? Salk, a guy from Boston is directing programming for a radio station in Seattle. He incorporates his east coast, pro-baseball, anti-college football bias in a foreign market essentially. Brock Huard should be embarrassed to work for a station that has 0 husky football coverage and during the season had the worst coverage I've ever listened to. A total fucking joke that was equivalent to Brock farting on Salk's face and Bledsoe and Damon Huard laughing at it.

Meanwhile, most of KJR's clowns continue to show little professionalism. Puckett and Furness are taking jabs at Petersen's appearance and fitness. Even your average Coug isn't that much of a fucking loser. Wasn't Puckett the guy who posted/broadcast some guy's personal information? Their attempted failed funny anti-UW pre game show in 2012 catalyzed KJR lose the UW contract. Rather than show contrition, respect and professionalism these fucking cretins just dig themselves deeper.

TL/DR version- local sports radio is a total dreckfest and the cord for these stations needs to be cut.
 
As always, listening to Sandy is about the only valid option.

Only thing I'd change about his show is the fact that while Churchill is definitely knowledgeable, he comes off as a dbag way too often.
 
What are they making fun about his appearance? He's a little short but he looks like the type of guy that runs 3 to 5 miles at 6am every morning.

Tom Wassell, Salk's butt boy who is another transplant was trying to talk about Seattle being a football town/baseball town etc.

Not one fucking word about UW's history going back 100+ years. Not a word about how with the two Pete's you could have the major football town in America in the years ahead. These clowns don't get that Mariners get no support because they suck dick and don't have a track record. The Sonics had tons of support (until Bennett stripped them to prep for a move) because they had a track record of winning consistently. Same with the Huskies.

If firing Grey was a move to free a prime spot for Wassell, then fuck Salk and fuck 710. Wassell is a whiny fuck who has no business being on the radio. He's a cunt who doesn't get this town at all. If Grey did something egregious, then he deserves to get fired, but if it's just a move to help Salk's boy, then fuck them all. Grey was one of the few solid shows in Seattle.

I didn't realize that the 10-12 hours were time periods that one needs to free up to spend time with their family
