ESPN has been the worst thing for college football. Their media deal with the SEC and the CFP has done nothing by skyrocket their costs because it turns out that people not from the south actually don't give a shit about their poverty car lot animal teams. So they force a 3 loss Alabama that just got smoked.

My favorite little moment in the SEC title game was when Kirk went on a small micro tangent about Alabama maybe being in jeopardy of missing the playoff if they were to get blown out (it was all UGA at that point).
I swear to god his producer got in his ear, as his tune changed in literally about 8 seconds of him going that direction.
Call me conspiracy guy I guess, but if ND were in the SEC … they would have somehow gotten in over Miami.

You can replace a lot of dead dogs with that kind of coin.
It’s a lot but he does put in work. Thursday NFL game, Gameday, a Saturday game and regular appearances all week. I bet he doesn’t have much free time during the season. His takes aren’t always spot on, but he’s definitely dialed in and knows what he’s talking about and is well prepared.
Romo gets 18 million. Brady gets about double that. Herbie puts in a lot more work than those guys and is #1 in his profession (CFB).
