Levi Onwuzurike is announcing on the 20th

This is an update from the Baylor side...

Late last week BearsTruth reported that Baylor was all but out with four-star defensive lineman Levi Onwuzurike (Allen). While things aren't fully "back on" between he and the Bears, there is a more positive outlook than only days ago. BearsTruth reported last week that he preferred to leave Texas to play his college football, essentially eliminating Baylor from contention.

BearsTruth spoke with Onwuzurike as well one source close to his recruitment over the weekend and the message is clear: No one really know what is going on right now.

According to Onwuzurike, he views each of Baylor, Washington and Michigan on a level playing field and that none of the three are eliminated. That was a parallel with what we were also told from a source who stated that there was a general feeling on Onwuzurike leading up to Saturday that completely changed on Sunday after additional conversations.

From our end, things are pointing in the direction of Washington. But with any prospect looking to go out of state, there could always be the possibility of wanting to stay closer to home.

God I hope you are right! Am I wrong to feel like this kid looks like a 5 star talent? His size/speed combo seems very, very elite considering the talent he is playing against. Unless I am wrong on the talent level he is playing against.

Apologies for my blatant racism....but in his Scout video I was shocked to hear a guy who sounded like he was well educated and brought up in the suburbs and not a dude who could barely string together a few sentences with correct English.

This is exactly the type of recruit Pete will close. Like Bartlett last year.

I feel bad but I watched the Scout video and immidiately thought the exact same thing. The minute he opened his mouth I instantly thought of Dave Chapelle dressed as Tiger Woods.
