Let’s talk Washington’s next great QB

In college 13-0 is better than 3 losses in a close race. I'll admit I thought Daniels would be average at best in the NFL not a first year sensation
Stroud had a great rookie year too but a bit of a sophomore slump this year
That ASU game cost Penix the Heisman
i think it was more the wazzu game. If he put up huge numbers there going into the ccg he would have had the late season momentum.

Stats

It’s been fun to pick up rooting for WASHINGTON with that kind of QB after 2022-3 with Penix.

When I saw Daniels in person once this summer I swore he’d get snapped like a twig at some point. He’s so freaking skinny.
I missed the part that he’s so chill.

Thought Penix deserved the Heisman for not losing 3 games in a close race otherwise but it’s not like Daniels didn’t have a Heisman worthy season.

You're a fucking idiot doog if you think Penix should have won the Heisman.
extremely idiotic … based on precedent of one team with 3 loses vs zero. One player was the best dual threat qb while one was the best pocket passer. Playoff vs an average team and they both had incredible stats.

Daniel’s is a very likable star and I was late to the party it seems. He looks like a twig out there although fun to watch. Until the playoffs the nfl had been mostly background in my place.
Daniels' stats shit all over Penix Jr's.

Passer Rating: 157/208
Comp %: 65.4/72.2
YPA: 8.8/11.7
TD%: 6.5/12.2
Passing TDs: 36/ 40
INTs: 11/4

Total Yards: 4911/4946

I don't even need to list the rushing stats individually.
And MPJ played 25% more games.
