Let the pillaging begin

Damn Tybo had a certain je ne sais quoi IMO that's a loss

Not worried about Tybo. He’s going to end up at Fresno State or something.

As a true freshman he was UWs #2 back. Even if Fisch finds a better back he would be a good back up this year

He was forced to be the #2 guy because one of the guys in front of him shredded his knee during training camp. If Davis doesn’t get hurt, Tybo is probably fourth on the depth chart behind DJ, Davis, and Will Nixon.

As our unexpected number two, he had 50 total touches - a third of those coming in the Michigan State blowout - and the coaches preferred playing a dude who had one leg late in the season to letting Tybo get more carries.

It doesn't matter how he good he is. It matters how good he is compared to their next option. If he's their second best RB and they lose him then that just moves the 3rd best guy up

Meh, there are hundreds of guys out there that are basically equivalent.

If they ain’t elite or at least an above average starter it doesn’t really matter. Especially at RB where you can’t really impact a game too much with negative plays like a bad DB can.

Who? Name some specific players that would be better than him. Even if there are then I'd rather Fisch process a worse RB and keep Tybo. He's got athleticism and wiggle that isn't coming through that door

There are something like 40+ uncommitted running backs currently in the portal. Between those guys and all of the ones who will enter during the spring portal period, I'm sure there are at least a few capable of being JAGs.

Coleman just committed. Expect a Woof!

Did you see that on Twitter? Great to know we have a starting RB if true. #2 would be a battle of Will Nixon and Sam Adams II.

Imagine having Tybo on the roster and saying "it's ok if he leaves we have Sam Adams"

Its ok with Tybo leaves, there are 5-10 other RBs on the westcoast without NIL deals that can play RB2 just fine.

NTAOTM if we are starting frat guys and walk ons on the OL next year

Literally nobody said that.

Maybe Tybo progresses, maybe he doesn’t. It’s college football and we want to keep him for the potential. He looked quicker than everyone else on the field he just did nothing with that. Maybe needs to get stronger. Maybe needs some coaching.

The point was the 2023 version of Tybo made absolutely zero impact on the field and was the definition of a replacement level JAG.

Tybo started to get it against USC. Then the next week against Utah he got crushed. Then the alligator arms

If he dies he dies
